Paris impatiently tapped her foot on the wooden floors of her papa's villa. The food was lay out on the table, her iPod filled with music exactly not to London and England's taste ready to play, her carefully applied make up was done to perfection and all she needed was her first guest to arrive.
The party was to celebrate her birthday, though she wasn't quite sure how old exactly she turned. Paris had lost count somewhere among the 1800s, deciding that if she wasn't physically aging, surely it didn't matter how old she was really?
She had sent out the invitations to all countries and cities alike, making sure that everyone was invited (she had even extended her invite to Russia, who scared her so much that when Paris saw him she'd automatically hide behind the nearest tall person - it wasn't her fault that she was naturally petite.)
Sipping her wine glass, she sat down on a chair and waited for the doorbell to ring.

Paris jumped up at the sound of the doorbell ringing and grinned widely. Her shoes made a loud clacking noise as she walked quickly across the floor; smoothing her general appearance out, after another small glance at the mirror she opened the door. Smilingly charmingly at Glasgow and Scotland, she stepped aside to let them in.
"I'm so glad you could make it! My papa is already here, and a few other people." Noticing the present in Glasgow's hand, she barely managed to contain her excitement. Nothing excited Paris more then presents. Trying to keep a calm facade, she decided to wait until it was offered to her.

As her dad's car pulled into sight of France's villa, New York blew a pink highlight out of her face with excitement. Sure, it was Paris, and sure there was some bad blood between her dad and America, but who cares? A party's a party! She grabbed the blue gift bag from the floorboards and got out of the car, pulling her long black tube top over her skinny jeans. The red, white, and blue chains dangled as she walked to the door with her dad curiously looking around behind her, and rang the bell.
